At SoCal Drivers Club, we believe your track experience should start with a properly prepared driver's car. That's why our Drive SDC Arrive & Drive Program is centered around one of our all-time favorite BMW M cars—the legendary Dakar Yellow E36 M3.
Meet the SDC E36 M3
Our E36 M3 wasn't built to sit in a garage or look pretty at a Cars & Coffee. It was built to do what BMW intended: spend its life attacking apexes and turning laps.
The goal was simple: create a turn-key, worry-free track car that allows drivers to arrive at the track, hop in, and focus on driving. Whether you're looking to experience your first track day, sharpen your skills, or simply enjoy a day behind the wheel of a properly prepared M car, we've got you covered.

We've spent enough time around fast cars—and even faster drivers—to know that building a capable track car isn't about throwing parts at a problem. The right combination of suspension, brakes, tires, cooling, alignment, and driver ergonomics makes all the difference.

What's Next?
We're actively searching for the next addition to the Drive SDC fleet, and this time we're setting our sights on a Porsche Cayman with PDK.
Our goal is to offer drivers another approachable, confidence-inspiring platform that delivers incredible performance on track while maintaining the same turnkey Arrive & Drive experience. We're evaluating several options and hope to have an update soon.

Suspension
The MCS 1WNR damper is a single-adjustable damper with an adjustment range of 18 settings. Built as an “entry-level” (yet still race-capable and winning) damper, MCS 1WNR dampers are upgradable to our other damper systems. The modular design of MCS damper systems use interchangeable parts for an easy upgrades, without the need to invest in a new package. All MCS dampers are fully rebuildable, serviceable and can be custom-valved and upgraded any time.

Sparco EVO Carbon FIA seats with Sparco 6 pt harness. ½ Roll bar. Momo steering wheel. CAE Ultra shifter. Anti Gravity Battery, Element fire extinguisher. Custom mounted AIM Solo DL for lap timing and diagnostics. Pre and post track inspections at European Auto Source. Snell 2015 rated helmet and Hans device required.

PFC 08 brake pads. Upgraded rotors, fluids and stainless steel brake lines from FCP Euro.

Can I have a passenger?
No Passengers allowed
Gas
Rental will have a full tank of gas. Any additional fuel is the responsibility of the renter and must be refilled at 1/2 tank.
Is the vehicle safe?
Safety was our number 1 priority. We have pre and post track inspections along with scheduled service and maintenance. Our cars are equipped with a ½ roll bar, FIA approved Sparco Carbon racing seats and Sparco 6 point harness. Snell certified helmet and Hans device are required. We have helmet and hans available for rent.
Insurance required?
Track insurance is now required for all rentals. Insurance must be done by the renter through Hagerty and proof of insurance is required before the rental event.
Does the cost include registration to the event?
Yes, registration is included in the rental price for all SDC events. This is a full Arrive & Drive experience. Registration for non SDC events must be purchased through that organizer. It is the responsibility of the renter to register for non-SDC events. No refunds will be given if you fail to register for that orgs event.
Can I rent for a non SDC event?
Yes, we now offer most Speed Ventures dates. If you would like to track at a date not listed in the drop down menu, send us a message and we will do our best to accommadate.
Full arrive & drive for non SDC events.
*You will need to register for that track orgs event. Cost is for the rental only.
What happens if I crash or cause damage?
The renter is responsible for any and all damage done to the vehicle and a deposit will be required at time any damage is done to the vehicle.
Track insurance is required and they have a deductible that will be due. Any damage less than the deductible will be due at time of incident.
We now require a credit card for a security hold and drivers license at time of rental in case of any damage that may be done during the rental.
How much track time will I get?
You will receive 6 on track sessions of 15-20 minutes each.
Can I share with another driver?
We are now allowing renters to share the vehicle for the day at an additional cost of $500.
